Loaded Bolognese Chips

Updated 12 September 2026
At 899 kcal, Loaded Bolognese Chips is the heaviest single item on Zizzi’s On The Side list. Updated 12 September 2026.
Skin on chips. Rich beef ragu. Mozzarella.
That price is Zizzi’s own published figure, and it sits above the average for the On The Side section. Branch pricing still moves it: an airport, motorway or station site charges more than a high street one for the same thing.

| Nutrient | Amount | % RI (calculated) |
|---|---|---|
| Energy | 899 kcal | 45% |
% RI is our calculation against the UK reference intake for an average adult: 2,000 kcal, 70g fat, 20g saturates, 260g carbohydrate, 90g sugars, 50g protein and 6g salt. Zizzi publishes the amounts, not these percentages.
Everything You Need to Know About Zizzi Loaded Bolognese Chips
How to order Loaded Bolognese Chips at Zizzi
You can order Loaded Bolognese Chips at the counter, at a Zizzi kiosk, or in the Zizzi app for collection or delivery. It is filed under On The Side. Branch by branch availability varies, which the app reflects once you choose a location.
Zizzi Loaded Bolognese Chips price in 2026
The Zizzi Loaded Bolognese Chips price in 2026 is £6.25 on the figures we hold. The figure is Zizzi’s own published price. Within the On The Side section that puts it 6th of 6 on price. Expect more at airport, motorway and station branches than on a high street, and more again through a delivery app.
Allergens declared
Zizzi declares 1 of the 14 allergens UK law requires to be listed for this item: milk. It also lists tree nuts, peanuts and sesame as a possible trace, meaning Zizzi cannot rule those out. A declaration covers the recipe and not the kitchen, and every one of these chains prepares food in shared fryers and on shared surfaces. For a severe allergy the only reliable check is asking staff on the day.
What 899 kcal means here
899 kcal is well above the On The Side average. That is most of a day's energy for a smaller adult in one item, so treat the rest of the order accordingly. The 2,000 kcal figure printed on UK menus is a reference intake for an average adult, not a target, and it is the number these percentages are worked against.
The most expensive in its section
It tops the On The Side list on price, out of 6 priced items. The dearest item in a section is not always the worst value, and the nutrition table above is the honest way to judge that.
Finding it near you
We list 31 Zizzi branches across 4 of the four UK nations, with the London WC postcode area holding the most at 3. Menus vary by site, so a listing here is national rather than a promise about your nearest one. The Zizzi app confirms it in seconds.
Pro Tips for Ordering Loaded Bolognese Chips
Portion and what comes with it
A pasta or noodle figure is for the bowl as served, and bread or a side salad ordered alongside is counted separately. That is usually where the real total on this kind of order comes from rather than the dish itself.
A lighter choice in the same section
Chips sits in the same part of the menu at 729 kcal, which is 170 fewer than this for £4.75. That swap is the single biggest change available inside this section, and it needs no substitution or special request at the counter.
